The 2009 Fall Conference was held in conjunctionwith the Southwest Ohio Chapter at the Riffe Center on High Street in Columbus, Ohio on October 8, 2009.

Northern Ohio Chapter Fall Dinner Meeting
Thursday, October 30th, 2008 - the Northern Ohio Chapter of the Air and Waste Management Association will be hosted a tour at Oberlin College's Adam Joseph Lewis Center for Environmental Studies (AJLC). After the hour-long tour we convened at the Oberlin Inn where Pam Carter from Frito Lay spoke on aspects of sustainabilty as they apply to business. Indiana Chapter Fall Technical Conference
Thursday, November 6th, 2008 - The Indiana Chapter and the East Central Section of A&WMA is pleased to announce their Fall Technical Program. The full day of technical sessions (8:00 - 4:00) will be held Thursday, November 6, 2008 at the NCAA Headquarters, located in White River Park, in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.
The incoming president of A&MWA, Rick Sprott, will be attending. Mr. Sprott is the Executive Director of the Utah Department of Environmental Quality. The topics for the fall meeting include: Root Cause Analysis, Boiler MACT Update, Introduction to LEED, Real World Actions to Green your Business, Calculating your Carbon Footprint, Regulating GHGs under the Clean Air Act: Options and Issues, and Area Source MACT Rules.

2008 Spring Technical Conference
The 2008 Spring Technical Conference was held on Thursday, May 8th at the Trinity Cathedral in Downtown Cleveland. The conference featured technical sessions in the morning followed by "break-out" afternoon workshop sessions focusing on either Hazardous Waste Issues for generators or a PM2.5 stack Testing Primer.

Annual Networking Social
The Fourth Annual Networking Social was held on February 28th at the Rock Bottom Brewery on the West Bank of the Flats. This event was sponsored by The Northern Ohio Chapter of A&WMA, The Northeast Ohio Chapter of Hazardous Materials Managers, Northern Ohio Chapter - American Society of Safety Engineers, the Northeastern Ohio - American Industrial Hygiene Association, the Building Environment Council of Ohio and the Auditing Round Table - Ohio River Valley Region. It was an evening of great networking, free snacks and free pool.
A&WMA All Ohio Chapter Meeting
This meeting was held Thursday, October 18th at the Riffe Center in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The nominal session costs included morning and afternoon refreshments, as well as lunch. Meeting time was from 9-4.

Akron Aeros Game
Our annual networking/social event with the Akron Aeros was held on Saturday July 7, 2007. It was a 7:05 game, followed by fireworks! As in past years, tickets were free to our membership. If you were unable to attend, we hope to see you next year!

Annual Networking Social
About 50 of us met at Jillian's in Cleveland Heights for our annual event! In additional to The Northern Ohio Chapter of A&WMA, we enjoyed the company of our peers from the Northeast Ohio Chapter of Hazardous Materials Managers, Northern Ohio Chapter - American Society of Safety Engineers, and the Northeastern Ohio - American Industrial Hygiene Association. It was an evening of great networking, free snacks and free pool. This event was, as it is every year, FREE!
NASA Glenn Field Trip
Northern Ohio Chapter toured the NASA Glenn Research Center on Monday, October 23, 2006 at 1 p.m. Afterwards there was a presentation from an environmental professional at the 100th Bomb Group Restaurant, as well as networking. The cost for this event was $10.
Northern Ohio Chapter 20th Anniversary Celebration
We celebrated our anniversary with dinner and speakers at Stan Hywet Hall in Akron.
